Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,
It is a great honor and pleasure to invite you all to the inaugural Ranney Middle School Model United Nations Conference, RAMUNC I, hosted at The Ranney School in Tinton Falls, NJ.

As the first iteration of our Model UN conference, RAMUNC I marks the beginning of what we hope will be a long tradition of intellectual engagement, collaboration, and friendly academic competition. Our goal is to provide middle school delegates with a meaningful and exciting introduction to the world of Model UN, while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and leadership in a supportive environment.

This conference would not be possible without our partnership with IDIA, whose guidance and resources have been instrumental in helping us bring RAMUNC I to life. Their support ensures that we can offer delegates a high-quality and enriching Model UN experience.

At RAMUNC I, delegates from across the region will come together to explore important global and local issues, work collaboratively to propose solutions, and develop skills that extend far beyond the conference itself. Our dedicated staff and secretariat have been preparing to guide each delegate on this exciting journey, ensuring that every participant has the opportunity to grow, engage, and thrive.

The lessons of RAMUNC go beyond a single day or committee session—they are about cultivating diplomacy, critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence. By participating, delegates will gain valuable experience in public speaking, research, negotiation, and problem-solving, all while forming connections and friendships with peers who share a passion for global issues.

Whether this is your first Model UN experience or you are eager to dive deeper into debate and diplomacy, RAMUNC I offers a place for every delegate. Each committee and activity is designed to inspire discussion, encourage collaboration, and foster leadership skills in a fun and engaging way.

RAMUNC I is more than just a conference—it is a chance to learn, grow, and create lasting memories. I am excited to see what our delegates accomplish and the ideas they bring to life during this inaugural event.

I encourage you to explore and return to our website for updates on registration, committees, delegate resources, and more. On behalf of the entire RAMUNC I Secretariat, I look forward to welcoming you to The Ranney School for what promises to be an inspiring and unforgettable first conference.

Best regards,
Maeve Presutti
